Adult Functional Strength Training
[Limited Class Size]

This is a total body workout within an adult playground of cardio, strength and balance challenges. The circuit format changes each class and incorporates a variety of training tools including TRX, bosu, kettlebell, training ropes, jump ropes and more. You’ll never be board and you’ll feel fit, stronger and more energetic. Wear comfortable workout clothing and sneakers or soft-soled footwear. Bring a water bottle to keep you hydrated in this class. Safe, fun, and effective!


 Butts & Guts
Exercises focusing on abdominal conditioning and lower body toning of large muscle groups. We’ll be using props such as the bosu, resistance bands, foam rollers, stability balls and weights. Wear comfortable workout clothing and sneakers or soft-soled footwear.


Cardio Bootcamp
BootCamp class will inspire you as it is getting you into the best shape of your life!  No other workout will make you feel so good.  You will get fit, lean and lose those unwanted last pounds.  It is not your typical cardio and weight training session.  The Think BootCamp class consists of calisthenic, body weight exercises, strength training, core and balance exercises.  The class will challenge your mind and body!  The confidence you gain while attending BootCamp will flow over into all aspects of your life.  You will feel like a new person, ready to take on the world with what you will be able to accomplish. It is a fun, one hour class incorporating interval training. Most exercises are timed for one minute or until fatigue. With every class attended you will make great improvements with your cardio endurance, strength, core as well as your balance.  You will feel more fit, stronger, more energetic and most importantly, healthier!


Cardio Kickboxing
This is a high intensity workout incorporating kicks, punches and intense interval movements. Some sparring may be included depending upon the experience of the class participants. Wear clothes that allow for a good range of motion and gym shoes with good support.


Dance Fitness
Enjoy the cardiovascular and sculpting benefits of a fitness dance class incorporating body isolations, movement combinations and high energy moves set to up beat current music. Light weights and other fitness tools are used to maximize toning and up the calorie burn. Good sneakers recommended.


Jock Be Nimble
Agile, quick, light on your feet, moving with ease.. would you like to describe your movement like this?Then this is the class you’re looking for.  Improve your flexibility and balance with ayoga inspired class suitable for men, women, and teens.  Fluid and powerful movements will enhance your athletic pursuits. Come prepared: comfortable gym or yoga attire that allows for range of motion and bare feet, yoga mat (our use ours) and water bottle.


Total Body Conditioning
Experience a variety of strength movements for the upper, lower and core muscle groups interspersed with cardio intervals of athletic aerobic training. This class burns fat while increasing lean body mass. A variety of equipment will be used each week to achieve optimal results. This is a great way to get fit and challenge your body in a non-competitive, relaxed atmosphere.


Zumba
Zumba is a fusion of Latin and International music with dance movements creating a dynamic, exciting and effective way to exercise — not to mention fun! Merengue, salsa, cumbia, and belly dance are just a few of the dances incorporated into this class. Routines are pre-choreographed and easy-to-follow with a combination of fast and slow rhythms giving you a total cardio workout. Wear comfortable workout clothing and sneakers or soft-soled footwear.

Pilates
This class places an emphasis on working on the deep core muscles of the body. Pilates Basics focuses on introductory principles such as breathing technique and proper alignment. The challenge increases as you gain experience with the basic movements and props are incorporated. Wear comfortable workout clothing. Bare feet or slip resistance socks are suitable for this class. Bring your own mat if you prefer.


Pilates Circuit
This unique class is for those who are seeking a more intense Pilates workout. Classic, easy-to-follow Pilates moves are done in a circuit pattern to test muscular endurance, maximize caloric output and increase lean muscle mass. The class is set to upbeat music and the circuit changes regularly to keep the body and mind stay actively engaged.


Continuing Pilates
Some previous pilates experience is required.  This faster paced class focuses on intermediate level exercises that balance upper and lower body muscles. Props such as the Bosu® , stretch bands, rollers and fitness circles are used.  Build strength and stability without bulk.


Pilates Yoga Blend
Want to do both yoga and pilates but don’t have time?   This class combines yoga flows with pilates exercises for a stronger, leaner you!  Pilates strengthens your core and yoga adds a lower body strengthening and balance component. Some experience in both disciplines is helpful for optimal benefits.

Gentle  Yoga
Safe and effective for those just beginning their yoga journey, with physical limitations or for those who wish to have a gentler class. Gentle stretching and joint movement as well as basic postures are included. Modifications are offered. Each class ends with relaxation.


Kripalu  Gentle Yoga
Safe and effective for those just beginning their yoga journey, with physical limitations or for those who wish to have a gentler class.  Gentle stretching and joint movement as well as basic postures are included.  Modifications are offered.  Each class ends with relaxation.
Mixed Levels  Yoga
For continuing students or those who have had some prior yoga experience. This class guides you to hold postures for longer periods of time and to focus your attention on your breath, inner sensations, thoughts and emotions. More challenging postures and vinyasa yoga flows are introduced though modifications are always offered. Class concludes with a 10 minute relaxation.

Power Vinyasa Yoga
Power yoga is a vigorous fitness-based approach to yoga that puts emphasis on adaptation, working toward strength and flexibility. Vinyasa yoga will enhance your practice by encouraging you to move from where you are presently to challenging your individual level of ability. This class appeals to people who are already fit and enjoy a faster paced yoga style.


Yoga Pilates Combo
Want to do both yoga and pilates but don’t have time? This class combines yoga flows with pilates exercises for a stronger, leaner you! Pilates strengthens your core and yoga adds a lower body strengthening and balance component. Some experience in both disciplines is helpful for optimal benefits.


CLASSES FOR KIDS & TEENS

Care Giver & Baby Yoga
(Newborn to Pre-Crawling)

Quality time for Mom, Dad, Grandparents, Nannie with baby. Infant yoga classes are a wonderful way to connect with your baby and with other caregivers. Class begins with a baby massage followed by strength training with baby and a slow, flowing vinyasa sequence which ends with caregiver and baby relaxing together during savasana. No previous yoga experience is necessary while those who have practiced will find the connection with baby a unique experience. The class is very informal and there is no pressure or expectation for your babay to “behave” in a certain way. Caregivers will fee free to stop and feed or soothe their babies and rejoin the class whenever ready.


Dance Fusion for Teens & Kids
What child doesn’t like to learn the latest dance moves seen in their favorite music videos?  This class consists of an active dance warm up, followed by a brief stretch and conditioning, to prepare the kids for the best part — a fun yet challenging age appropriate hip-hop dance routine that they will learn throughout the session. This class is for all dance abilities! Wear comfortable workout clothing including socks, sneakers or dance footwear.

 


Pre-K Yoga (3-5)

 

Using yoga poses, songs, stories, games and relaxation techniques, your pre-schooler will have fun while stimulating their imagination, gaining strength, flexibility and breath awareness.

Parents must stay on-site, but don’t have to participate in the class.


 

Teen Sports Conditioning
Weights for Strength:  Dumbbells and the use of your own bodyweight. Train for Speed & Sport Specific: Different sports require different skills. Develop the skills necessary for your individual sport. Speed training uses speed drills to help build and sharpen reflexes. Simple speed drills like sprinting, running fast and turning around, stop & move drills are used to develop speed & reflexes for your sport. Train for Aerobic Endurance: Calisthenics, running, jump rope and other aerobic exercises.Stretch to Become Flexible: Stretching helps you become flexible and will help to prevent injuries. A flexible athlete will be more agile and perform sport-skills easier.

 


TRX for Teens
This is an introduction to one of the hottest workout trends going!  using your own body for resistance work with this unique suspension system to increase strength, core stability, flexibility, endurance and much more! Every week will bring a new set of challenges to your workout.  Come motivated!!!

 


Zumba for Kids
Geared towards children, this class  is a fun way to exercise and interact learning coordination and music development. Your child will build self-confidence as they learn many different dance rhythms, including Latin Hip-Hop and Bollywood to name just a few. Wear comfortable workout clothing including socks, sneakers or dance footwear.

GROUP WORKOUTS AVAILABLE

Working out is always better with friends! Get at least four of your friends together to form a TRX, Pilates or event-specific training class. It’s the next best thing to personal training! You’ll benefit from the support of your friends to keep you motivated in reaching your fitness goals.
